On October 2, the Federal Department of immigration announced that from October 20, international students and their immediate family members will be allowed to enter Canada. As long as the institutions they study in have epidemic prevention measures and plans approved by the provincial government, there will be no time limit of March 18, 2020.
The provinces that have been opened are as follows:
In BC Province, all public and private primary and secondary schools can be reopened to international students
In Quebec, all public and private primary and secondary schools, as well as all institutions above high school, are approved to be open to international students
In Manitoba, all public and private primary and secondary schools can be reopened to international students
In NB Province, all public and private primary and secondary schools can be reopened to international students
Pei, all public and private primary and secondary schools can be reopened to international students
Primary and secondary schools in other provinces are not open for the time being.
